If you have seen any pictures of Phelps you have probably seen his soccer ball that he has had since we brought him home. Well...Jellybean was feeling really crappy with her allergies and my grandma bought Jelly her own little soccer ball! She loves it and it is so cute to see both dogs playing with them at the same time. :)

TeJay isn't a huge fan but everyone else thinks its cute. And after I paint them she prances around so she definitely likes it!
Mark Hindman came out to help me shear Lammy today! Well...he did all of it.. She looks completely different. Normally she shakes me off and is like "mom, don't pet Meee!" But while she was on the stand she would freak out unless I was standing right beside her where she could see me. She does love me :)
I love my uncle John :) It's so awesome to see him ride off on his Harley knowing that all of his stress and worries can be gone for a night.
We moved to Albia yesterday and brought Abby and Lammy with us. Hannah's friend Amber had a place we could keep them until we got our own place. It is where her cousins live, there are 4 little kids that will play with them and learn to take care of them.
Coming into town in a trailblazer with a lamb, a goat, a kitty, and hay bales strapped to the top was quite amuzing. Everyone said i looked like the Beverly Hillbillies.
We went to check out their pen and there was no shelter. After Grandma and I brainstormed about using outside storage containers and anything else we could possibly use we decided to build one. That way it's a lot cheaper and more special :)
Their house turned out awesome thanks to Fred, TeJay, Garrett, Grandpa, Grandma, and Chuck. I would have never been able to build it on my own. It was the fastest building I've ever seen! We had it built, loaded up, and en route to the farm in 2 hours.
The babies seemed to be ok in their new pen and there was lots of grass for them to mow down. I was a scared mom leaving them there especially since they have 3 dogs- one of which we are still unsure how he will act around them.
The mom of the little kids also is a huge animal lover though, so she's been checking on them and texting me. I went to check on them this morning and they seem to be doing good. The only thing is I let them follow me around the yard everyday so they kinda want out of the pen. Spoiled!!!
I know everyone--including me has been asking for rain... but why does it always have to come with bad storms!? I'm not being picky.....just sayin

Soooo.... my 64 tomato plants are really putting out some tomatoes! Thought about selling some ...but where?!
For those of you that don't know it's my first year gardening and I got a little crazy buying stuff to plant .... these potatoes were all harvested from one hill and I have 64 hills!!! So I will probably be selling them at Hughes Auto very soon!
The kittens at the farm love to hide in my engine. So far I think they've jumped out before I start my car, but if not maybe that's why my engine fan is turning on my check engine light and needs replaced....hmmm
A little background information- Abby and Lammy live in a room in our barn where the ceiling is open which allows you to get from one side to the other without going outside. This is also where I keep their square bales and grain.
For those of you that have lived in the country, you know, this is the perfect recipe for raccoons. They were eating the grain which isn't cheap and pooping everywhere by the square bales.
First the neighbors let me borrow a small trap, after being out smarted by the coons for two nights I got ahold of my friend Levi. He told me that I was trying to use a squirrel trap! He let me borrow his trap that is actually made for raccoons. I have been setting it and everytime I set it I catch a coon!
I'm pretty sure I caught the momma first and TeJay "took it to the farm." The last three times have been little babies :) they are so cute!! We live by a state park so I drove 6 miles away and let them go in their new home. It was a really good feeling to give them a second chance. I'm almost positive that is the last of them but I'm still going to set the trap for the rest if the week.
Produce out of my garden!! So delicious ...so far I am able to eat it as its ready but probably not for long!
Jellybean is so funny! She lays and walks across the tops of the couches. We call her kitty sometimes lol
This little tomato is from my garden! It is the first thing this year out of the garden and the first vegetable I've ever grown! However, there will be MANY more tomatoes this year! is about the size of a piece of gum lol cute :-)
TeJay and I weaned the calves today. It was a lot less difficult than I thought it would be! The cows have been mooing a little but the calves don't care so far. They are excited for their new pen- new water tank and GREEN grass!!! Lets just hope they don't realize they miss their mommies when we go to bed tonight!
Phelps is 3 years old today! Time has gone by so fast but it has been an awesome 3 years and Phelps will always be my baby even tho he is getting older. Jellybean is 3 now too! A little older than Phelps but they both got birthday cupcakes!
Meow loves laying on my torso with her head by my face so that there is no way I can ignore her. I think its cute :) When TeJay sits by me she always wants to touch both of us at the same time too funny!
We were watering the cows and spraying them and the calves thought we were playing! The kept coming closer and closer. TeJay had them drinking out of the hose but I wasn't fast enough with my camera! They are getting big quick!!
Momma kitty's kittens are getting braver! They need to start coming out more so I can play with them and make them less wild so they can get homes! If anyone wants a little kitty to spoil or a mouser let me.know!
This is a picture from a couple of months ago when Abby was super little and loved to snuggle. Shes still pretty small but is alot more independent and gets easily distracted by food. But she still snuggles with her mommy sometimes.
